You might find it fun, but it wouldn't be good for the overall state of the game for the majority of the player base. Your proposal would cause far more gameplay issues and/or frustration than anything else. I get that you think it would be interesting, and to some effect I agree, but it's just not something that is remotely realistic or something that the devs would ever implement. Over time you learn the role to give yourself a better chance, but it's not supposed to be easy by any stretch. I'm not sure if you're making some of these suggestions because you feel like it's too hard to win as Vulture, but the devs have stated that it's supposed to be challenging to win as any Neutral role, including Vulture. The Vulture inherently helps the Ducks, but allowing such a pairing would make for very frustrating and unbalanced games. Also, who would want to play Vulture if they didn't win after completing their win condition? It just doesn't make any sense.īeing able to pair with the Ducks and win with them as a Vulture would be severely overpowered, as they could pretty much go on a killing spree and never get caught. ![]() I also fail to see how this helps with the player grouping issue, as the main thing that is effective against this is the presence of the Pigeon. Also allowing adjustments on one role would raise the question of doing it on other roles, which would be difficult to implement, not to mention 95%+ of the player base would not be able to set such role-specific settings effectively. As it stands, the automatic number to win is pretty fair. Being able to set the number of bodies could easily make the role overpowered or make it impossible to win. It is waterfowl season and the ducks are moving, you can see robins, juncos, cranes and the redpolls are still showing up at her feeder. ![]() I agree with you that being able to adjust settings for the number of bodies might be interesting, but then that opens up the whole issue of inexperienced players making adjustments to the role that would make it unbalanced. I'm not sure what sort of lobbies/settings you're playing in, but the Vulture 100% works as a Neutral and is fairly balanced in its current state in 14-16 player lobies.
